corset..
So I finished.
I couldn't be happier.
100% exhausted.
I had only 1 week to complete this project (on top of other projects and work) and I put it off til the last minute. Since chris was here I didn't start this until monday. MONDAY! I tried to start sunday but I was so tired and hung over that I voted against that idea. Instead, on monday (after having class 9am-9pm) I started. I stayed up 2 days straight and was hand sewing until 1:00pm wednesday when it was DUE 2:00pm wednesday. Anyway, I finished and my professor was feelin' it. I'm so relieved that this has been lifted off my shoulders but now I have even more shit to get done. F.I.T your killin' me. Ughhhh.
Well, here is my 1st corset I've ever made. And it was hard work.
Really bad quality pictures... but if they were better you'd see that the fabric is really pretty black brocade. The panels are alternating shiney and matte and the lining is a deep maroon silk wool. The laced ribbon is 13ft long, thats alot of ribbon haha. It takes the natural waist in 2''. Sweet.
