Bolero!
I bought this black shrug at Forever 21 four years ago or so and it is one of my most-worn items. Handy to throw on with just about anything for a little warmth and to cover exposed bra straps.
Today's Gwynnie Bee dress is an adorable tea pot print in sturdy cotton. With pockets! But once again, for reasons I cannot fathom, the dress makers think you won't wear a bra with it. In this case, the straps are just a little wide on bottom, exposing bra strap. (As seen on the right.) I think the bolero really changes the way this dress looks. I like it both ways, but It hink I like it with the sweater just a bit more.
Damn shame the 'buy it' price on this one is way over my personal limit. It's machine-washable, too! Paired it with my Modcloth teapot necklace. :D
