So here's the latest Gwynnie Bee. I was cross with them because they suddenly got very slow at sending my next dress and my two-dresses-at-a-time premium ended while I waited. But I complained, and they extended it. (Turns out they were moving their shipping operations. I feel guilty about complaining, but not so guilty I'm saying no to an extra two weeks of two dresses.) So I have two dresses now. yay. This is one. The print is exquisite, almost photographic. Sadly, I don't think the color really works with my skin tone. It's too close. I often have this problem with tan or apricot.
The fit is very comfy. It's a double-knit. There's a zipper up the back but I haven't used it, the dress slips on easily over my head. It's fully lined, too, and machine washable. All pluses. If I were just a bit paler or a bit darker!
I'm considering upgrading to the two-outfits-at-a-time plan permanently. It's $21 more a month. But... you know... more dresses! I have 51 dresses in my "closet" at Gwynnie Bee, and they keep adding new dresses every week that I MUST try. I'll never get to all of them!
Decadent problem to have, eh? You know, I just love dresses. And I love having lots of different dresses all the time. I love experimenting with different styles. I'm trying to wear more accessories regularly.
In other news, I need to figure out pretty soon what I'll be doing to keep myself fit and active in the off-season. Brian wants me to find a personal trainer again, someone who knows football. It's not a bad idea; I'm just too shy to ask around. I feel like I've already gotten a bit flabby these past three weeks or so, as illness has left me not exercising much outside of football practice.
