I made dinner last night - which I so rarely do. (Oh how I love my hubby.) And decided to clean out some of the pile of sauce packets we have sitting in a cookie jar on the counter from our many, many take-out dinners.
And dayyyum did we have a lot of soy sauce packets!
I was going to just make a soy sauce reduction with some ginger or something but I decided instead to make Sauce Sauce! I poured a random assortment of packets into a skillet - soy sauce, duck sauce, sweet and sour sauce, Arby's Horsey sauce, ketchup, honey mustard, and barbecue sauce. Yup. Sounds nummy don't it? Crushed in two heads of garlic and a teaspoon of ginger powder and boiled down to a nice gravy-like consistency.
It was gooooood.
I got nothing else productive done all night, opting instead to reach level 20 on "Bookworm".
In other news, I still love everything.
