Week today..

Well it was a week today that the cyclone hit Broken Hill and ruined at least 100 plus houses in the south of Broken Hill, I went out there the other day to see what damage it made and it looks like a war zone, it was rather sad I almost cried, one family that most the locals know he was renovating his home when it hit and the whole house was ripped up and thrown back down with them in it now he will most likely have to rebuild as the foundations wont be any good no more.. We were lucky on this side of town, no serious damage was done just flooding, our house flooded and we now have to get the loungeroom floor replaced, alot of other people are worse off then us so we cant complain, there is over 15 houses that have to be rebuilt out the south and lots more without roofing or fencing..

Even though the cyclone caused so much damage I would have loved to have seen it, I guess its something that has always interested me since the movie Twister hehe

Anyways Im gonna go and watch a movie then crash out for the night..
