Well, over the weekend I got a letter from the Red Cross concerning my
blood donation. Apparently, as per their test results... I have had
hepatitis B in the past. Which I know isn't true, but it's still a
little scary.
The results say that I don't currently have hepatitis of any sort,
however I did test postive for the antigen for it, which is an
indicator of having the disease in the past. I don't remember having
liver problems, or my skin turning yellow... which are the main
symptoms, besides the "feeling sick" of just about every other
disease/sickness out there.
I can currently still donate blood, but if I get a positive again, I
will be ineligible to donate again, ever. Which would suck. So
hopefully this remains nothing, and merely a false positive. A single
false positive at that.
It would suck even more if I do have hepatitis... but I highly doubt
that is the case. Anyway, that's about all I have for this update... a
little bit of excitement to stir things up a bit.
