So, I am applying for a local secretary position.  The hours are great but my self confidence is low.  Guess it comes from being self employed for years on end.. I would make way more than i'm making now and I would have insurance which I'm having to pay for myself now.  I'm ready for a change.. been ready for one.. I will keep you in my prayers. When I first got a secretary, I think I was more nervous than she was. I'm not a very organized person (hence the need for someone who was). Rose is now my right arm and left leg and everything in between. I think being self employed trains you perfectly for this job. You have the ability to think of everything that may happen and prepare or remind your boss that it's a possibility. I hope you have a wonderful time and remember that no matter what, nothing is written in stone. If it doesn't work, you can look into something else. But I think you'll do a great job. You seem to have just the right set of skills for the job! Good Luck and keep us posted.

Best wishes on the interview! It would be a big change going from being self employed to having a boss. I hope it works out for you.

yes, a HUGE change.. I'm so nervous and I have no idea why other than I've never had to sell myself before to anyone and I'm so afraid that I will screw it up :) Thanks for the encouraging words!

I'll keep you in my prayers, honey, and I have faith in you. I know you will do an excellent job and be a credit to any employer. Being self employed means you are work oriented, self motivated and organized. You won't need to sit around waiting to be told what to do. You will be proactive in seeing what needs to be done, learning systems and getting into the swing. You have so much to offer any employer. Trust in yourself, my friend. You are a wonderful woman.

Loving hugs for you and Chels.
