Nearing the end of my Abadonathon!!
So muc has happened, and unfortunately I have midterms next week since the college is off for two weeks for the Olympics. (I also haven't told work that I can work yet, I'm being sneaky...)
But yes! Nekros is coming! XDD I can finally say I'm waiting on 2 dolls now (well... one and a half, since a head isn't a full doll...) The Miho is from a marketplace thread who is on his way and the Abadon is from a seller selling him to me privately. I've just paid for him and I can't believe I'm actually getting the boy who made me fall in love with Luts dolls in the first place.
He'll be my first SD13 sized doll (only MSDs thus far) and I've held them before, so I know I love the weight and size already. He is basically my dream doll for an existing character (unfortunately that means I'm going to need to get his lover next year too... -_-) He's only had one owner and has hardly been played with so like new, is normal skin (so yes, my Miho, his mortal enemy can share a body for pictures), has the faceup I've always loved and is, to me, one of my dream dolls. Wow, heh... sorry for the rant. I get super excited/antsy when a new doll is coming. (who doesn't?) At least I don't have to wait 2+ months for a company bought doll.
And Nekros was shipped out today! ^^ The seller managed to find a box big enough to fit the Luts box in, so he'll be safer and she split the shipping with me, luckily it wasn't too much. But she said he'll be here before the end of next week since it was priority. (most likely next week I'd say) Gaaah, he'll so distract me form midterm studying...) Man, I thought I'd have more time...
Haven't ordered a wig yet, I'm in a GO and no shoes, so he may be a little cold.
Since he's on his way, how about I show a couple of the pictures the seller sent me:
Ignore the wigs, although this is closest in colour. I'm going to be getting a long black Luts wig for him that's alot more fitting for the character.
I think this one shows his faceup better. ^_^
His style will be alot different soon. A punk doctor with 2 snakebite piercings under his bottom lip and an Irezumi back tattoo (when I can afford to send him out for them) But yeah, so super excited it's hard to think of anything else. She's also sending me the body pics tonight so I can tell if it's type 1, 2 or 3 (hopefully either off the buff ones) He'll be coming in the original box with certificate of authenticity and everything. ^_^ I plan to do a box opening video this time, (I haven't had the patience/another person to film for the others) as well as pics and hopefully along with my friend who'll be ordering her Abadon soon as well. Gah, I'm off to make more cue cards... -_- At least I'll have a big hunk of resin soon to keep me company!
