Firstly, a genuinely splendid wedding that allowed us to spend time around people we've both grown so fond of and sadly can only rarely and fleetingly be around. We do both wish you well, and look forward to the first opportunity we get to head south again and catch up!
The 21st century part of the title came from the photographs. We had Ruth come up to us excitedly just as we were leaving on Sunday to ask if we had seen the photographs. Now thats impressive - we had seen the photographer leave not that early the evening before, and here were gorgeous phootos in hand of beaming bride. The 21st century is scary...
The 13th century encompassed part of the early history of the venue - but much more the sugared almonds Paul has ended up with. Its amusing me to think of Paul trying to live of sugared almonds for 6 weeks.
The journey back ended up with Fi and I taking refuge at Gareth and Pennys house in Yorkshire. Gareth and I spent some time looking at weather radar images, forecasts, traffic cameras in Scotland and came to the conclusion leaving could be very stupid indeed.
So we got back around half 3 today (Monday). Tired but fine.
I have listened to division bell 3 times since early Sunday morning. I won't forget it, or you folks.
Thanks =)
