Ok ,you arent going to beleive what im going to post ...I think that none of you actually know anything about skullkingdom. But I do....I will change alot of your minds about alot of things...so here is my life and secrets of skullkingdom that I hold and held until its last day........it was march 1997 I worked for a carpet company and was drive down international drive and saw this huge building with a skull on it ( its funny about the entire thing ,I had a reading with a spirtutulits ( man I cant spell) and I was told about a year earlier that I was going to dedacate my life to skulls...) I thought I was going to be a gothic night club (funny they wanted to open a club later)... had my interview with dan carroll....we toured the place and I knew it wasnt going to work about I told trevor tompson "man this place is great!!!...I was hired as "head of security".....and later to also be the janitor.....then a man named doug wolfe gave me a chance and I was actor .....but only a scare actor..I didnt do speaking roles until my third year ( I guess people didnt believe in a long haired tattoo pot head...funny shit huh?...lot of people in this world think they are better than others...I guess what ever makes you feel big.) ....then a fifth year happened and we were losing our maket we were going to close....at that time me and this guy (Ivan Roche) usta clean the building ( Ivan remember when we weren't sopposed to talk to you....funny what makes people feel big huh....damm fools)...became the general managers.(funny isnt is we were the janitors)....this guy named Zia Burney bought the place......the whole thing is Zia saved the place ....it was open for 10 years beacuse of him.....It would have closed after five years ,beacuse of him it lived for 10 years.....alot of you would have never got to work at skullkingdom ...because of him you did.......believe me I hated the way he ran the place I loved it more than any of you....I lived there for almost 8 years .....me and Ivan fought Zia for alot of you people.......saved most of your jobs.........many times over.........Zia didnt ruin the place he save it ...gave it life for double its life span.......so before you say zia ran it into the ground....I do agree he didnt know the first thing about haunted houses...but it did have one thing...a great team....if you all hate me after this ...I dont care.......I loved the place........I died last night when I found out......but dont blame Zia...im going there today to thank him.......he gave me life for 2 1/2 years ...and alot of reasons to smoke alot of herb...lol.....but I love you all...your all still my family.......man we had a great run...I hope one day to manage another haunted house with the best business partner anyone could ever ask for...Ivan you were the best.....and I do say this If it does happen .......id hire you all back and do it again.
Yes as I said in the last bulleton I was going to go to the castle and thank Zia......I did, funny George the old man that was George's dad (techs) was at the front door waiting for zia......he still worked there.......I talked to Zia few quite a while....the magic show closed some time ago...it bombed......I found out the reason why it closed...tieher is selling the land for 8 million dollars (do you blame him?)......Believe me Zia is depressed about the entire thing.........I thanked him for everything that he did ....he gave the castle life for 5 more years..........I walked my last mile with him one more time(walked the castle)......Ill tell you, those who know me.....ill tell you I almost cryed ...i miss it so much.......I had one more managers meeting with him ...helped him out and sugested where to adverize the auction on the sets and he gave me one last final skullkingdom tee shirt and we shook hands and I left the castle...I stood outside the castle one last time and looked at the big guy.....(the big skull out front) and told him "man you and I had alot of great adventures and now its time for me to more on forever....and start the new adventures of Dave........ :(
to let you know man one of the things zia said to me and dave both was that the time when we were there it was the best cast he had ever had and that he was wrong on the way he teated people.
