Well General Elections was yesterday an as usual the ruling Government win again *coughs*payoffs*coughs*.
I didnt vote cause im not registered so I might go for my ID sometime this week or next. Life is quiet and relaxing........sometimes.
LOL speaking of the Elections a friend of mine described it an the people who elected the current party back into power:
"Well it's official, Trini's like to ketch we ass. We love the aroma of rum and roti, we like to fete 'til we wet, we prefer Jamaican twang to common sense and most importantly, we like it so.
So when 2nd Caledonia still cyar get water after 40 years, dey look for dat.
When u call 999 and there's no police vehicles, yuh look fuh dat.
When $1000 in groceries amounts to a pack of milk, a roll of toilet paper and a bag of oranges, we look fuh dat.
When another baby dies because of the lack of hospital equipment, we look for dat.
When we mourn the murders of our loved ones and The Honourable Mr.Stupid Foot insults our intelligence and says "crime is only temporary", we look for that.
When d river end up at d foot of yuh bed because dey prefer to build a high-rise on d port instead of a proper drain down your street, yuh look fuh dat.
When yuh business on fire, d hydrant dry and d tender leak out half d water on de way there, yuh look fuh dat.
Ahhh, T&T we steppin' up in trut'."
