Background: Kiseop was born to a troubled family. He was given up for adoption at the young age of two and shortly adopted by a couple. They’d already had a daughter some fifteen years Kiseop’s senior, but they’d wanted sons, so along with Kiseop, they adopted one other boy who was a year older in age. The first couple years were good, but as the two boys grew older, and their step-sister moved out of the house to start her own family, their adopted mother began to grow more and more mentally unstable. Several years of Kiseop’s early teens were spent in and out of various mental institutions, watching as his mother slowly deteriorated.
When he hit seventeen, the family was allowed to bring Kiseop’s mother home, the hospitals deeming there wasn’t much more they could do for her. The reasons for her decline were still unknown and she wasn’t improving in a clinical setting. Their home situation became strained; his brother dropped out of school, his father became reclusive. Somehow, through it all, Kiseop managed to remain himself, and he went on to finish high school. His family continues to remain a sore topic to him though, and he prefers not to talk about them ever.
Personality: Kiseop is a laidback, fun loving kind of guy. He isn’t easily offended and enjoys joking around though his humor often alternates between stupid frat boy and intelligent, witty and sarcastic. His moral compass is slightly skewed since he is very much a proponent of “the ends justify the means,” but, all in all, he’s a good guy. He gets along well with most people simply because of how amiable his personality can be, and the best way to shut him up or get him off your back is to feed him. Feeding Kiseop will more often than not give you enough time to run away. That said, getting Kiseop angry is a task and a half, but once done, he has a sharp tongue that can be harsh, and he has no compunction about stepping up and laying things out plainly.
