I'm sorry for the disappointment

I was recently added as a friend by a person I don't know so that we could become part of each other or something, and to be inspired. Now, to be fair, I'm certain I'm not the only random person added by this LJ user, but this journal could hardly be inspiring, for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that I barely ever update ( Read more... )

I thought I had sent you another email after that, but it may have been after you moved, and your email address may have changed. I'm not sure, but really it doesn't matter. What does matter is that we have the opportunity to catch up now. Congrats on getting married! That's quite a big step. I hope that's going well for you. Steph is turning 14?! I thought she was a little younger than that. I can't believe it! I'm really glad to hear that you are going to school, were you finally able to work out all the stuff with the physical education issues?
Nothing is really going on to speak of on this end. James is working, and I am still doing the stay at home thing. Alex (the baby) is a daily delight. He's so funny. And sweet. And cute. All the things you expect babies to be. The boys do keep me pretty busy most of the time. If I can convince Mason to lay down for a little bit while Alex is napping, I might get some rest in before Nick gets home from school. Which would be really great. If I want that to happen, I need to get the breakfast and lunch dishes done though, so...
I'm off to deal with all things domestic.

hey again! sorry it's been a few days since i posted back. the usual, holiday crap plus we've all gotten the plague thanks to miss stephanie, the plaguebringer. i'm a miserable bitch when i'm sick (just ask my poor husband!) and yeah, the marriage thing is going great. much happiness :D it will be four months exactly tomorrow! yeah, still going to school, as i probably still will be when i'm 85 but it's ok, i like to learn all this crazy stuff. except math, math can die. math should die.

do you have a picture of alex scanned? i'd love to see him. i bet he's a cutie like your other two. i'm really glad to hear that you're all doing ok. i hear you moved pretty far north, how is that? and j is out of the military now! is that good or bad? i've missed so much.

really looking forward to catching up :)

Oh no, not people being all sick, thats not good. We had some kind of virus around the end of october that Nick brought home from school, and it was very much no good. We were all taking turns being sick, and seemed to be giving it back and forth to each other, so what should have been at most a 3 day illness, went around my house for about a week and a half.
I have a digital camera, and there are pictures of Alex all over the house. If you give me an email address, I will gladly send you one that we took last night, of Alex and James, making the same face. It's so freakin' cute.
I'm ok with living in Barstow, its a change of pace and scenery, but I wouldn't want to live here forever. James is loving being out of the military, it really never was the life for him, but more a means to an end, just to get things taken care of at a time when there were so few options for him. So yeah, just send me an email address, and I will send you some pictures.
:P
