Please help
Unemployment is a such a drag. Here are a few ways you could help me make it and not lose my apartment and keep my lights on.
It suddenly occurred to me that my all my private work in all these different areas might get a lot more attention if I tell my friends what I am doing. Yeah, uhm duh.
I am selling my wares at whimsymonkey.etsy.com - I have jewelry, scarves, car muses, cat toys, rag rugs and magnets available (well, magnets and a rag rug are being posted tonight.) Take a gander and let me know what you think. If you are already listed as an etsy seller and have had any success with it, I would love to hear any suggestions, and don't forget to heart my shop, I will instantly and gleefully return the favor. If anyone local to Columbus knows of any upcoming craft fairs please let me know. Also, if you own a shop or have a friend who owns a shop or have any relationship at all to a consignment shop I might be able to display some items at I would be thrilled to know about it.
I realize the chances that you might see something you want in the 20 odd things I have listed is pretty slim, but if you are looking for a particular piece of jewelry and can describe it or send me a picture I can probably make it for you. I also do amigurumi dolls (I made an octopussycat for my son's birthday) and sock monkeys (they are coming to the shop soon, but take a long time and I have had to focus on other things.) I can make lots of stuff and I love a challenge. If I don't already know how to make it, I would love to learn.
Also, I want to teach your Grandma how to use the internet.
I am not kidding. I am patient and I love seniors. I love the internet, I use it all day. It is the greatest tool ever created by mankind for connecting and learning, and too many seniors have been left our of the technology loop.

Also, I can help you clean out and organize your garage, basement, attic or spare room. I can freelance administrative duties for small businesses, weed gardens or run some errands for you or anyone you might know. And if you have anything you want to get rid of for cash and posting stuff on eBay sounds like no fun to you I will do all the grunt work (photos, ad copy, correspondence and shipping) for a percentage.
