Unemployment was so fun until the panic set in.
I am making scarves like they are going out of style. I also made these little wire and bead ladies that hang in the rear view mirror, they are all lose and full of the jiggle. They dance for you when you are supposed to be driving! Next step is to post them on etsy. But before I can do all that I have to get my logo and banner together and photograph and catalog everything and hit the OK LIFE PLEASE ACCELERATE button.
I also started another blog (well, I am almost there with it). I am having some connectivity issues that should be resolved shortly (*ahem*, Dom…). More on all that when it happens.
Mike and I are setting aside a play we were going to write (actually, there are two more in the bucket) for an assignment that is due sometime in April. We have to write an hour of sketch comedy about Italian Americans. Hilarious. He keeps getting me into things I think I can’t do, but then somehow discover I can. I love that about him.
I am doing shitloads of research on tax law and small businesses and affiliate marketing and resume building and how to make a plaster cast of a hand. We live in interesting times.
Working on a new music playlist, (which I will post). Combing through media files like a five year old on an old timey Saturday morning cartoon, Lucky Charm and chocolate milk binge. I just doubled my music files (another shout out to Mike, my favorite media junkie). I am hearing new stuff and totally fucking loving it. Music makes me sane. Hallelujah.
I am smack dab in the middle of another long distance relationship, loving the relationship but kind of hating the distance part. I am chock full of amusing and personally mind bending ideas as to how this might have happened to me, again, but I will spare the Psych 101 details for another time. I am long distance woman. My cape has many pockets, packed and ready to go.
Also, I said yes. Now we just wait forever.
oh yeah, I am whimsymonkey on last.fm. Find me, we can send each other musical pot roast, or broccoli or whatever.
long distance love,
