I am hearing, although most assuredly not listening to or watching, Bill O'Reilly interviewing Sarah Palin about what she does in her spare time.
*facepalm*
I am practicing my deep breathing and reminding myself that arguing politics with my father will simply make my visit highly unpleasant and be as rewarding and effective as pounding my head against a cement wall, with much the same end-result. Unfortunately, my visit could not have been more ill-timed as the results of the Massachusetts senatorial race were not only obsessively followed and loudly celebrated, but are being endlessly re-hashed on the non-stop, conservative, factually-challenged television marathon that is my father's living room.
