Happy Homes always invite you with a smell of good food! What can be better in a bitter cold? We are cooking Shepherd's Pie today, as usual, my version, as I rarely stick with classical recipes.

I did something similar last night except it was a steak & kidney x shepherds pie combination. I did a post sorry no photos.

This is going to sound really pedantic but this is cottage pie, not shepherds pie.

Shepherds pie is made with lamb, minced or otherwise. Cottage pie is made with beef, minced or otherwise.
