Holy flying monkeys, it is so friggin' cold. Google says it's 56° F, but it feels arctic. *shakes fists at sky* Curse northern Illinois weather! It's so bipolar. I've been used to 70° F and up most days. And then for homecoming week it drops so drastically. I'm so cold I feel like lighting my house on fire. (totally kidding)

Anyhoo, homecoming was much fun. At dinner I had baked lasagna. (omnomnom) It was
scrumptious. I think I forgot to mention on Friday that I wasn't going to the actual dance because I skipped school the last day they were selling tickets. So, after dinner and some lovely candid pictures taken at a park, I got dropped off at my house while my buddies went to the dance. I wasn't too bummed about not going, but I kept imagining people asking where I was. Especially this guy I'm practically in love with (OK, OK more like infatuated with...he looks like George Harrison...my favorite Beatle...*cough*). My reliable sources informed me the poor guy was a 3rd wheel. Shoulda asked me...dumb ass. But back to me talking about my amazing IMAGINATION... If anybody asked about my whereabouts, the obvious answer would be: "Sitting at her computer by herself, stuffing her face with those Cheeto twisty puff things, while watching the Supernatural episode she missed yesterday." (by the way, the eppy was so good...I loved it very much)
Around 11 PM, the dance ended and the amigos started arriving. Our grand plans were to watch a
bunch of Disney movies, BUT my stupid VHS broke (it was older than the dinosaurs). Most of the classics I own are on VHS. (Prince of Egypt, Hercules, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Aladdin, etc. etc.) So we watched Pocahontas (Wingapo, yo) and Treasure Planet (both movies filled with awesomeness). We drank pop and ate lots of junk food. It was a jolly good time.
This morning I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and we watched Bambi. (I never got that
movie...when I was little I thought Faline was Bambi's mom *snort*) Eventually everyone went home except for my dear Amie. She and I went to the Apple Orchard today. Mostly just to take pictures and feed the goats (those things are so fat, I can't even). We had cider donuts and cider slushies. Then we dropped off a donut for a friend who was having a trying day, got back to my house, and just finished watching 10 Inch Hero. I loved it, but it was weird. And Jensen Ackles was... :] Now she's sleeping on the futon.  And I still haven't done my homework. *horrified* I really wish Columbus Day was tomorrow instead of next Monday. I'd rather not have to go to school tomorrow...back in uniform. *sigh*
I think I should go start my extremely gigantic pile of homework. My grades are ehhh right now, and I
need a 3.6 GPA to go to Mexico this summer with my friend's family. We'll see how that plays out. Bye for now, but not forever. (deep, man)
