God dammit, Lady Gaga

I just finished watching the VMA's. Florence and the Machine performed! :] *squee* I love her music sooo much. It's different from anything I've ever heard before. I can't say as much for Justin Bieber. Backstreet Boys, Nsync, New Kids on the Block (who are now Old Men in the Retirement Home) etc. etc. I'm not gonna pretend that I wasn't in love with Lance Bass. (wasn't very surprised when he came out of the closet) I was 5 years old, sue me! The whole boy band thing should have stayed in the 90s where they belong! I guess it could be worse. Justin Bieber could actually be in a boy band. Though he had little kid background dancers when he performed earlier. It was like Kidz Bop. I refuse to believe he is my age. God no. And the millions of fan girls obsessed with him. It's like the Beatles! (except the Beatles were the best thing to ever happen to the world of music)  *heavy sigh* Lady Gaga won music video of the year...in a dress that looked like a steak. (at least I think that's what it was; my tv sucks) Florence and the Machine deserved to win. GAAAR! At least Linkin Park sang. That lead singer makes screaming look so sexy. And I'm not even going to talk about Kanye. Ah...er...no...GOD FINE. He's making a toast to DOUCHEBAGS? (must be a personal song...) If that's gonna be in your song at least change it to, "Let's toast to douchebaggery." Because it sounds WAY more awesome. And the red suit? Really? It hurt my eyes. I was yelling to my sister, "AH! AVERT YOUR EYES! HE'LL MAKE THEM BLEEEED!" I'm a bit theatrical sometimes...in case you couldn't tell.

Okay, enough of that...douchebaggery. (HA) My weekend was fantastical. Friday was the first home football game.

Score was 50-6, or something like that. Looks like we crushed the Pretzels. *falls off chair laughing* Not even kidding about their team name. I can't help being a jerk, it's just so easy to make fun of them. After the game I went to McDonald's with a bunch of amigos. (49 ¢ cones, bay-bay) Then I slept over at a buddy's house. Saturday I got new tennis shoes. (exciting, I know) They are pink and white. I have to look stylish when I get covered in mud during the Powder Puff game. I wanted these awesome purple ones with mini-cleats that were perfect for flag football, but they didn't have my shoe size. *shakes fists at sky* Why must you punish me so?! And I watched Gladiator on TNT. ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!!! ..hee-hee. There is nothing wrong with that movie. Except maybe how good Joaquin Phoenix is at being a cowardly jerk face. Oh, and I heard somewhere that the actor who plays the guy who owns the gladiators died halfway through filming. So they had to do some magical CGI-ing, or something. I have no idea. Today I did laundry, homework, watched the Bears win (SORRY, DETROIT. YOU SHOULD'VE WON THAT GAME), had dinner with relatives-I held my baby cousin for most of the time-, and watched the VMAs.

There's only a couple things I have to look forward to this week. Powder Puff practice starts Wednesday. On

Friday Amie is coming over and we're gonna party! :] More specifically, we're going homecoming dress shopping (window shopping, 'cause we're both broke as a joke) and then watching 10 Inch Hero, a movie with Jensen Ackles in it! Yaaay! And he wears guy-liner and dresses funkeeeh! MORE YAAAY! I've been wanting to see it for quite a while. It's got Jensen Ackles in it with a bonus of Sean Patrick Flanery! Sean Patrick Flanery plays Connor in Boondock Saints. (Norman Reedus is better, though...just sayin') If you haven't seen that movie, shame on you! Not that I blame you, it's not very popular. And pretty graphic. I, being the innocent girl I am, own the DVD and it's sequel. I love those movies SO FRIGGIN' MUCH. Anyhoo, 10 Inch Hero is gonna make this fan girl quite happy.
I think I'm gonna head to bed. (ha, that rhymes) I am in much need of some beauty sleep. Good

night!
