Thanksgiving someone the flu

So I was talking to one of my co-workers today, who was raped by cold last weekend, about how I'm feeling a bit "not quite right" yesterday and today, and she mentioned that's exactly how she felt at the end of last week. So...Perhaps I AM getting a cold. A very, very bad cold... The flu, most likely. Hopefully my strong* immune system will be able to flush any diseases that may be infiltrating my body.

*I have an unusually large number of white blood cells -- which, incidentally, also makes my blood appear a brighter red than most people's -- which is essentially a biological footprint of a near-fatal condition I ran into as a infant where my body decided I was my own worst enemy and attacked itself. Continuously. Churning out more and more B cells, which are essentially collateral damage-heavy tanks, until my entire body was so inflamed I resembled a balloon more than a human, and my parents (quite rationally) decided I needed some emergency care. My body now maintains the equivalent of a large standing army as a remnant of The Great War, in anticipation of World War II. How quaint.
