Fanfic Meme - Day 30
30 - Do you have a favorite fic you've written? What makes it your favorite? And don't forget to give us a link!
Difficult, and I don't have that many to chose from.
If I had to pick just one I would say The Deona Crystal as this was my first fanfic piece.
The fact that I wrote it at all was a surprise as, even after I first heard of fanfic, I never imagined that I would then start writing myself. I have kenderkim to thank for that. After a very innocent question about plot bunnies, particularly Hank & Sheila ones, I ended up telling her of about a very 'simple' idea I had - Hank has dream, has to tell Sheila enough about dream to then be able to save her. How was I to know it would take eight chapters to resolve!
There were times I wanted to forget the whole thing but I had a lot of encouragement and I stuck with it and I'm really glad I finished it. So, despite finding writing very challenging at times, I am still doing it, and it's all down to that first ‘simple’ idea.
