That was so well done. My eyes started to get misty when Dean died.

I haven't read many fics where Dean died, and I'm glad for this, because I can really see things happening this way. I love Luna slowly working her way into Dean's heart and earning his trust. You've captured her unique personality well here without making her seem too strange.

I love as well how you turned the tables on them at the end, when Dean repeated Luna's words, showing just how well he'd learned from her.

Beautiful work - and I'm definitely saving this one up for my personal rec list!

Oh, man. This was achingly, hauntingly beautiful. I am completely enamored of your writing style - the language is almost other-worldly, but your characters are utterly grounded and realistic.

I fell in love with the Dean/Luna pairing after reading DH, and I had half a mind to write a fic about their stay at Shell Cottage. After reading your fic, I honestly feel that I can't do that. You've given me all the missing moments and memories I could have asked for: this feels completely canon. Now that I have read this fic and "Stranger Things" by AKissInACrisis, I feel like I have two gorgeously written pieces of canon - one where Dean lives and one where he dies.

Thank you so much for writing this beautiful story.

There's a lot of beauty and feeling to this. It only occurs to me now that all of Luna's wandering outside was a reaction to her confinement. After all the immersion in Dean and Luna's relationship, the fulfilment of her finding another love and gaining enough perspective to see that Dean was in the process of finding himself was touching.
