Little Update...
This entry was somehow harder to write than I had expected it would be. I don't know why I expected it to be easy. I mean, I'm doing well here in St. Louis, so what more could I ask for? right?
Well, I could ask for my own apartment; I could ask for my own laptop, with internet; I could ask for a shower that has some kind of temperature control on it, not just a hot knob; I could ask for the ability to go see Carl and hang out at his house when he's off; I could ask for lots of things. But most of this takes time, if not money.
I don't know how far along in my trade I am, but I want to be farther than I am. I want to get done with Math 2 already. I'm on chapter 8, all I need to do is 8, 9, 11, metrics, and Excel and I'll be done with Math 2. Transportation 2 is hard for me because I don't want to fail the tests... It keeps me from taking them I think. I'm studying the Airlines and the Ramp Agent part of the curriculum. I think I'm so eager to be out doing my own thing that I am getting unfocused on what I'm doing in TCU. I need to prepare and give a speech on Oregon sometime in the near future, then they can mark off Office Communications from my list of things to do. I need to finish three or four more lessons in Data Entry and take the Data Entry 3 OPAC test to get my data entry certification. Then I think I'll be done with Data Entry class. That leaves Keyboarding. I'm on lesson 39 of 60 in GDP, which is the keyboarding program we use here. I am improving little by little in my keyboarding abilities. I have no idea how long all of this is going to take me.
