Yeah, well, basically you would be trained on how to paint interiors and exteriors of houses. The pay is a base of 8.50 an hour but the way the pay works is that you are alloted a certain amount of time to get a job done. So if you are hard working and efficient, you can actually make upwards of 11 an hour or so. At the end of the summer you can also gain a bonus of 50 cents per hour that you worked over the whole summer. It seems that you would probably be working with Rhys and most of the houses you and him would be painting would be in the chantilly/south riding area. I am the manager and I am the one that does all the marketing and books/estimates for new jobs. Lemme know what other questions you have.
Yeah, it is typically going to be about 8 hour days, sometimes more and sometimes less, typically starting in the mornings.
With you and Rhys, I could work out something of a convenient schedule of full time ness with you guys, but it might be subject to change based on weather and the like.
I'll be honest with ya this is the kind of work i was looking for something outdoorsy and physical. the 8.50 is a lil lower then i was looking for, but with what you said a bout making more with hard work would do it. I'm wondering is it monday through friday kind of deal? I'm going to be pretty flexible though :).
monday through friday could totally be possible. A weekend would be necessary only if the whole week was rain and therefore painting exteriors could not occur.
