1. Why is it okay that 4,000 U.S. soldiers have died in Iraq?
Answer: I don't know.

2. How did the President and Mrs. Bush mark the day of the 4,000th death?
Answer: I don't know. Some sort of solemn observance, I suppose.

3. Is it true that Vice President Cheney was fishing with a sultan on March 19, 2008, the anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq?
Answer: No, that must be made up.

4. Did Vice President Cheney as recently as March 19, 2008, tell people that 9/11 was a good reason to invade Iraq?
Answer: No, that can't be true.

5. Okay. Here's a long question. Ready? It's been reported that on that same day, this exchange took place in a recorded interview.

Q. Two-thirds of Americans say it's not worth fighting, and they're looking at the value gain versus the cost in American lives, certainly, and Iraqi lives.
THE VICE PRESIDENT: So?

Q. So -- you don't care what the American people think?

THE VICE PRESIDENT: No, I think you cannot be blown off course by the fluctuations in the public opinion polls.

That's not true, is it?
Answer: Oh, my goodness! Our dreams will alway come true if we really, really believe.
