Oh My Land has started up the recording process once again. We have been working on and off on the 18-song epic called, “The Mayflower Twins.” It’s been hard squeezing in recording time with the differences of all our working schedules. Last night we got together to start recording vocals. Patrick recorded vocals for the first half of the album. The vocals sound nice and clear. Nolan is using my 2-Audix condenser microphones, using one for left channel and the other for right channel, full stereo sound. It’s our first time using those mics for vocals. Tomorrow we will record again and hopefully finish all of Patrick vocals for the entire 18-song album. Rachel is coming home for spring break on this weekend, and it would be great to record her vocals and piano parts while she is off from school. Here are pictures from the recording as well as a Sunday hike with Kevin. Also, Oh My Land has two shows at the end of the month. March 27th at Linnea’s Café, and March 28th at the Slo Art Center. More details on that to come shortly.
Pat getting in to it
