Newbie!
Hi I am a newbie..not to marriage but to this community. My hubby and I just celebrated our one year anniversary on the 5th of August so I thought I would share our wedding story and pics with you. I also want to share a few pics from some of my friends weddings too. i am almost 24 and I must say in the last 3 years I have been to at least ten weddings, and I have two more coming up. I won't share them all though...only a few special ones. The pics are big though so dial up users I am sorry.
First off our wedding was a bit unusual. We decided on a Jazz themed vintage style wedding. We had a very small budget so I made my own dress, veil, and gloves.
Here is me with my cousin after the wedding in the dress.
My tiara was gorgeous, it was the one thing I splurged on. it was crystals, pearls (real ones) and gold.
My veil was hand made by me and had an edging done with probably 1000 or more tiny pearl beads. It took 2 days of steady work to finish.
Here is me and hubby with our best man and maid of honor (who also are married and I am going to show you some of there's too)
Ok so because my parents and I don't talk (haven't in years), my Aunt who is like a mother to me walked me down the aisle. We had the wedding in the center of town in the park in the gazebo. I made our wedding arch and hand dyed all the flowers to match our theme. Ok so here we go I will now start with me walking down the aisle.

I cried through the whole ceremony. Hubby grinned like a kid with candy. Here's us saying our vows. I also wrote our. We decided in keeping with vintage we would have the pastor read our vows and have us say "I do".

Our reception was held at my church. It was black and white jazz vintage themed also and we played only music from the 40's. Here is us cutting our cake.
And last but not least, throwing the bouquet.
