they took my blood today...surgery Wednesday. but let me focus my post on better things for a change.
today i was inspired by this couple i met at acupuncture. Instead of sitting quietly and napping the lady next to me asked me how my test went last week and i told her i passed and am now a certified massage therapist. she congratulated me. we got to talking about what she did for a living. she was a wedding planner, and loved her job. She told me how she came to be a wedding planner from being a florist. She also told me of her adventures at school etc. I told her a bit about myself. Soon after her husband came in he was a jeweler and made fancy cakes for occasions like weddings. we got to talking about cakes and his face lit up. I have seen him many times before but never so happy. He explained to me a cake he had recently made it sounded delicious and adorable. They were both very sweet and i thoroughly enjoyed their company. the lady whose name i do not know said she would be thinking of me wednesday and i thanked her.
I also had a conversation with a man about technology and life, and another conversation with a lady named Cathy about cameras and how she took pictures for a living.
I hope i can be so passion about my job when i am older like the photographer, and i hope my face lights up when i talk about my job to others like the cake man, and i hope i can be as gracious and wise as the wedding planner.
I am brainstorming a new project for myself while recovering from surgery. I am going to start a photograph journal/wall i havent decided of people who inspire me with their picture of them doingg something that radiates their personality, and manybe something important i have learned from them. We will see how it goes.
