[She jumps and twists around the find the source of the applause, an "EEP" look on her face.]

[Smiles] That was very beautiful.

[Gathers herself for a second before speaking.] Dino...san, was it? Um. Thank you.

[Smiles] Do you play a lot?

I don't so much any more. I thought this would be a good opportunity, since time doesn't progress on the Plane.

The time freeze is a very nice thing. [You can jump out of sensitive meetings and have time to think things through without anybody knowing]I took violin lessons when I was younger, but I was never any good. I was too clumsy to get the cords right.

You could try taking it up again. A little older, a little more coordinated?

It would make a nice hobby. With this place I'll actually have time to practice too.

We could play a duet. [Grins at the thought.] I haven't played with anyone in ages.

[Smiling. The thought of a cop and a Mafia boss doing a duet amuses him] That sounds like fun. Although I doubt my playing will ever sound as good as yours.

Of course it could. It just takes practice.

Lots of practice most likely.

[Smile.] Isn't that what makes something worth it? Having to work for it?

True. There's something realllly satisfying about gaining a skill you had to work for.

[There's something in that that makes her curious.] Have some absorbing hobbies, I take it?
