[After watching this for a few moments, Mu finally speaks up. His voice is still a little hoarse, and Shiro may notice some fading bruises around his neck. BUT.]

If you're hungry, there is a kitchen around somewhere.

What's a 'kitchen'? Can I eat that? Why can't I eat those shiny things there?

A...[Oh my. Mu sighs very mildly before continuing] You cannot eat the kitchen, no, but there is food within. The stars around us are, unfortunately, too far away to eat, even if it were possible.

Wow, I like this 'kitchen' already! Food is good. Let's go get some!

[Mu turns towards the kitchen and takes a few steps, then looks back to make sure Shiro is following.]

[First Shiro pads after Mu. Then he pauses.]

Hey, wait. Are you 'friend'? Or 'foe'? Gosh, I can't believe I almost forgot about that, but I have to ask everyone I meet. Y'see, my grampa--and when I say 'grampa', I mean the man who found me and raised me--told me that I have to protect my 'friends' and kill my 'foes', so I have to know which one you are.

[Says the bite-sized, most likely not even five foot kid.]
