[Shion knows that cosmo, and he knows that voice. He barely manages not to drop the helmet he's holding when he senses it. This is his Athena, the one he last saw in the midst of battle, the one he didn't think he would see again. He makes his way towards her, unsure emotions swirling in him. When he reaches her, he kneels, the robes of the Holy Father swirling around him.]

My Lady, I am..[For a moment he can't seem to speak, unsure of what to say] ..I am here.

[There's relief in her face that Shion took up the role of Pope as she commanded. Sasha kneels with him, so she can see his face.]

I'm glad to see you again, Shion. ...tell me, did everything turn out alright? [Did we succeed?]

[He starts when she kneels but at least he can smile a little as he says] The world is safe, my Lady. Everything turned out fine. [Or at least as well as it could. He looks at her more closely then] And you, my Lady? Are you...all right?

[She looks better than she did earlier. Her smile is tired but real when she nods.] I'm alright. Mu informed me who among the Saints are here.

It's a lot to take in.

So you have met Mu already?

[He does note that tiredness] Perhaps you should rest for a while, my lady. It is much to come to terms with.

I have. He informed me of what he knew about this place and told me you were here. [She politely declines the suggestion with an apologetic smile.]

I can't rest until I've met anyone who wishes to talk to me. I promise I'll retire after that.

[He would rather she rest, but he will bow to her wishes] Just please be sure not to push yourself too hard, and be careful my Lady. I do not fully trust this place. Mu has been here longer than I have, doubtless he has told you something similar.

Yes, he warned me. I don't trust this place either. And again, I promise I won't push myself too hard, Pope Shion. [She's proud of him. Of all of them really.]

But I'm a little grateful. I never thought I'd see the next generation of Saints.

[Although he has held this office for a while, hearing Athena herself call him Pope made the wait of it come home] When you decide to rest I can find a safe place for you. Is there anything that you require?

I can only hope I can make that next generation worthy of that title. There are several trainees that I think you would be proud of.

[She nods and grips her staff a little tighter in her hand.] What happened after we pushed Hades back into Eyslion?

[she's always proud of her Saints. As warriors and as people.] And I am always proud of everyone. It's because of them that I continue to be able to fight and have hope.

[He takes a deep breath] The Lost Canvas vanished from the sky with Hades gone. Dohko and I were transported back to Sanctuary. We have been working to rebuild and to gather more trainees. We've also created a memorial to honor those that had fallen. Crane Yuzuhira and Unicorn Yato also survived but...[He hesitates for a moment] Alta has said that their cosmo appears to be gone. They've chosen to live in Jamir rather than return to Sanctuary.

[Her last words make him bow his head, and close his eyes as a heavy emotion squeezes his chest. His is why he serves Athena, why he believes in her. She is kind and caring beyond words] All Saints are honored by that, my Lady. Everyone one of us stands at your side no matter what because we know of it.

[She nods at the news and her grip on her staff relaxes slightly. Sasha sighs softly with relief and smiles.] As long as they're alive, they're still Saints and our comrades.

And I'm glad that we were able to defeat Hades so the future could unfold.
