No need to apologise. The Doctor said he needed me - I left willingly. Couldn't deny an old friend of mine; just required him to bring me home once everything was sorted out.

[then the Brig pauses, thinks for a moment, drops out of the plane, then returns - a bit startled]

He...they...do seem like good people. [Dark look.] He's killed at least three people here that I know of. Fortunately, the Twins brought them all back to life.

[the Brig goes quiet for the moment, straightening himself] I'll need to speak with the Doctor. I've had my skirmishes with the man, I've fought against him but I'm no foil. I only do what I can and hope I come out victorious.

[serious Brig is serious] And here I thought working strategies and battle plans on Blackbird would be my only trouble.

I know about his hypnotic abilities, at least. I've been trying to find out how to combat them, though I haven't been much help thus far. And I've met the two of them only briefly, so I don't know much...

[Raises his eyebrows and looks over the Brig's uniform.] You're military, then?
