[An expanse of the otherwise bleak Plane beach has been transformed--somewhat! Where there were once dried out palm tree stumps, there are still palm tree stumps, but right next to them are actual palm trees, albeit ones with violet leaves and white tear-shaped coconuts. Lit tiki torches bookend a table with various foods from the Plane kitchen

[Even if Jamie doesn't know what a luau is, there's food, so he's pretty much going to show up sooner or later and make a bee-line for the table. He's looking at it like he hasn't seen proper food recently, too.]

Now that's more like it. I'd not have cared to find out if those bugs were edible or not.

Did you say something about bugs? I was pretty certain there weren't any around here when I set things up! Please tell me you haven't seen any.

[bonnypiperlad]

Hey? Och, no, not here. Back on the planet where the Doctor and I are.

[He makes a rather rueful face.] I've still not figured out how to get in that tower, and I can't get back into the TARDIS at the moment either.

[forever_noble]

Oh good, don't think I could stand having them about. [shudders, but more from the thought of having small beings skulking about in the shadows...]

[looks concerned] Why can't you get back into the TARDIS? Don't you have a key?

[bonnypiperlad]

[He shakes his head.] It's not that. They've taken the TARDIS, too. If I'd waited a wee bit longer before I left I'd be inside already.

[He is not happy about that fact, judging from the look on his face.]

[forever_noble]

[puts a hand on his shoulder] How can I help?

[bonnypiperlad]

Ye already have, by finding that rope. I'll manage. [Still, he can't help but look the tiniest bit worried.]

The Doctor's thinking of something, too, I'm sure of it. He'll come up with sort of plan to get in touch with me.

[forever_noble]

[she frowns, but isn't so easily put off this line of discussion] That was then. There must be something I can do to help you right now or before you head back to help your Doctor. Like... [she trails off, thinking] Oh! Does he have a mobile or anything you could phone up?

[bonnypiperlad]

A...what? [Oh, wait. She means one of those wee telephones he's seen sometimes, doesn't she? Two carries around a lot of things in his pockets, but Jamie can't recall seeing anything like that, so shakes his head.]

Not that I've seen. Even if he had something like that, though, he may not be able to get to it. I've got to get in there, that's all there is to it.

[sighs] Good point... All his luck, he'd be in the one place without any reception.

Can you do anything to get yourself thrown in there as well? Or...sneak in somehow?

[bonnypiperlad]

Maybe. It would be easier if I could get one of those guard uniforms they're wearing.

[Better to sneak in then get thrown in.]

What's stopping you? Couldn't you, I don't know, sneak up on one, knock him out, and steal his clothing?

[bonnypiperlad]

They've been patrolling in groups, that I've seen. I've not had a chance to work out the patterns yet. If I could get past the outer perimeter, it would be easier.

[He keeps having to move to avoid being caught, and it's a little frustrating.]

Maybe Toki had a point after all.

[forever_noble]

Do you need anything like binoculars or a watch? Or maybe what you really need is a good distraction!

[her eyebrows lift] Toki? Who's that and what point did she--or he--have?

[bonnypiperlad]

You've not met Toki? He's a friend of Nathan's. [Because clearly that should explain everything, right?]

He suggested trying a dre...er, a wee bit of a disguise.

[Well, or a prostitute, but Jamie thinks that somehow mentioning that might not be the best plan.]

[shakes her head] I'd remember meeting a man named "Toki". But a disguise just might work. Have you got anything in mind?
