Where there were once dried out palm tree stumps, there are still palm tree stumps, but right next to them are actual palm trees, albeit ones with violet leaves and white tear-shaped coconuts. Lit tiki torches bookend a table with various foods from the Plane kitchen

[Donna, on the other hand, thinks she's another one of the Doctor's companions, though she isn't sure if this one's ready for a fancy dress party or not]

You know, party on the beach, very handsome Hawaiian men doing dangerous stunts with fire? [a pause] Okay, imagine the hot men doing stunts. Couldn't exactly bring them here, you know.

I'm Donna, by the way. [holds one hand out]

[luckily, Donna is more than happy to help her out and gives her hand a good couple of shakes before letting it go] It's a kind of greeting actually, but I guess you could say it's a ritual. What do you do when you meet someone new?

Oh, no, this is about as foreign as those palm trees compared to Chiswick. I don't suppose you could give me a 'for instance', could you?

Now that is something that should have stayed around a bit longer, I think. Show proper respect for a lady, besides, it's downright flattering, isn't it?

[then something occurs to her] Hang on, why didn't you know anything about a handshake?

How far is "far", exactly? [Albion sounds like a kind of bird to her]

Oh, then you haven't met the Doctor then? [and here she was hoping to get some gossip on him! oh well, this is just as fun]

Ever meet a man who called himself "The Doctor"? No other name but that and probably talked a mile a minute?

Ah well. [she smiles] Since you're here, you're bound to come across one of them sometime. Attracted to this place like bears to large pots of honey.

[gestures to the table of refreshments] Would you like a drink?
