[Benny and Brax show up on the Plane, dressed in Christmas party gear (Benny even has a Santa hat on), Benny dragging Brax onto the Plane with one hand while holding a glass of champagne with the other]

Right, no more excuses, you stay right there while I get your Christmas gift. And I won’t take no as an answer.

[Benny takes a sip of her

[And look who just happens to be walking a bit of ways away from the pair, evidently absorbed in whatever he's doing on his datapad. What an absolutely crazy random happenstance. He's close enough to hear his name, but he hasn't noticed his furry namesake yet, so he glances up at the pair with a vague sort of annoyance.]

[Benny looks Narvin over, although she's talking to Brax] It's a shame really. I think he would have quite liked Christmas a few weeks back. Oh well, we all must grow up sometimes.

[addressing Narvin] Although, I must say Coordinator, it is rather big-headed of you to assume we were talking about you. I'm sure there are loads of other Narvins in the universe. [a beat] Well, all right, perhaps not loads, but there has to be one or two others floating around out there somewhere, I'm sure.

Oh yes, and Happy Christmas as well, Coordinator.

[Narvin is a grinch. :c] Christmas? Oh, the human holiday. Of course. I--

[There's a pause as he actually gets a good look at the other 'Narvin'.]

...what is that?

If I didn't know better, I might think you're trying to say he's too much for you to handle. [and Benny finishes off her champagne just because] Although, if you had bothered to come out of your office, you might actually have a drop of alcohol to hold you over. Being cooped up and working during Christmas is hardly in the spirit of things either, I must say.

Of course not. And I'm sure there was no possible way to schedule it for another day or --

[she stops herself, watching Narvin circling around behind Brax. Benny finally looks away from the weasel, and smiles up at Brax. It's Christmas and she doesn't want to argue]

So, do you like your gift? You're a very difficult man to shop for, Irving.

[tilts her head towards the weasel] Brax has found himself a new friend. It's like a regular Christmas miracle.

[and Christmas miracles are totally worth celebration, so she takes another sip of her champagne]

Holmes? The last time I met one of those he was an assumed to be fictional character.

[Sighs.] Yes, apparently there are books about me, except taking place in the Victorian Era.

[approaches with a grin--a genuine, easy grin. he missed the joke because he doesn't remember Narvin, but he can definitely appreciate furry animals--and champagne] Drinks and pets! You two've definitely got the Christmas spirit.

[Benny can't help but feel awkward and guilty, since her last encounter with Oliver didn't end very well. She smiles though, because, maybe they can just pretend it didn't end horribly. Her tone and smile are extremely eager and excited] You can just call us a couple of regular - what's a good Christmas character? It's a bit difficult, what with so many of them starting out the stories lacking the spirit. Oh well, we're extremely very merry happy Christmas people and all that, aren't we Brax? [she takes a sip of her champagne her gaze on her glass and nowhere else]

[laughs. if he knew what he'd be feeling were Benny looking at him, he'd be grateful that she has her eyes on her glass. as it is, he's just confused, but he doesn't comment on it. he's too busy trying to place who these two people are]
