[Jamie has settled under a tree in the forest, his satchel on his lap. Reaching inside, he pulls out a mass of cloth, carefully unwrapping it to reveal a brown egg with blue speckles - still intact. He looks at it, a vaguely disgruntled expression on his face.]

Och, aren't ye ever going to hatch?

[Like a little chinese dragon about the size of one's arm charging across his lap to play with the ferret?]

[That would do it! Jamie startles awake completely, hand automatically going to his waist to grab the dirk that's there. However, when he sees Mu, he relaxes.] Mu! When did ye get here?

[There's a faint 'dooking' noise from the ferret, who is VERY EXCITED to have someone to play with and is trying to initiate a chase game with the dragon. The noise catches Jamie's attention, and turns, blinking a bit as he tries to figure out what's going on.] Hey?

Seconds ago. I think your egg has finally hatched.

[OMG SOMEONE TO PLAY WITH YAAAY! The little dragon happily indulges the ferret in a game of chase]

[He picks up the remnants of the shell from the ground and holds it up to inspect it.] I would say you'd not be far wrong on that.

[YAAAAY PLAYING! The ferret goes bounding across the floor of the forest and over these weird furrythings that are in its path. Jamie looks a bit bemused as the ferret runs right over his legs.]

It's an enthusiastic wee beastie, isn't it?

[Mu crouches and holds his hand out to it.] Most younglings are, I think.

[The Dragon keeps making playful swipes and nips at the Ferret's tail because IT'S SO FLUFFYYYYYYYY]

[The ferret bounds over to investigate Mu's hand, but the nipping at its tail causes it to spin around and attempt to wrestle the dragon, much like it did with the shell before. But this will be much better, because the dragon can wrestle back if it wants!!!]

Aye. [Jamie jerks a thumb at the ferret and comments in a rather dry tone.] If ye could bottle that stuff, ye could get rich. Hey, did ye think of a name for yours yet?

[OMG wrestles!]

No, but my choices are narrowed, I think.

[Ah-ha, all part of the ferret's cunning plan try and establish dominance! Pity it's smaller than the dragon.]

I'd not even thought of a name for a ferret. I was sure I was going to get a dog.

[The Dragon is all tail, which, admittedly, can be just as distracting]

And what would you have named a dog?

[It's certainly a good distraction for the ferret, who is having a grand old time trying to get at it.]

Jock, or Kerr. Or Angus, if the Doctor decided not to use it. I've not seen her recently to ask. They don't seem right, now.

[Ferret = defs. more fun than a rapidly growing tiger cub.]

Then I suppose both will have to remain Nameless a little longer.

Aye. I suppose so. I'm sure we'll think of something, though. [He looks for a moment like he's going to pick the ferret up, but then shakes his head.]

Och, I'll let them play. Unless ye needed to be somewhere, that is?

I'm not either. Although what would we...

Oh, hey, I don't think I ever asked ye what it's like where ye come from.

I don't think the topic has come up, no. Would you like to know about where I grew up, or where I live presently?

Where ye are now, I think.
