[ At the sight of the monsters, a lightning spell crackles to life in her hands, but Roxas handles them before she has to do anything. She watches the hearts float to the sky before finally finding her voice. ]

What in the name of Pokiehl were those?

[He glances over, Keyblade now at a rest over his shoulder. Seeing she was about to try and help makes him smile a little in thanks.]

They could sink into the ground like shadow zeroes. Ick, so creepy. You all right?

Shadow zeroes? [He nods.] I'm fine. They weren't very tough. Thanks, though.

[She watches, a little wide-eyed, and then blinks.]

I didn't know that they could, either...

[He looks almost worried for a second, then smiles sheepishly.]

Yeah... guess I'll have to be more careful from now on.

[She nods, but she's more worried about you, Roxas! >:]

Yeah, of course. These guys are a piece of cake. [And to prove it, he whirls the Keyblade around all fancy-like before placing it on his shoulder.]

Whoa! [Like Angela, Axel looks about to slice open some Heartless heads himself, but Roxas takes care of everything before he can so much as toss a chakram.]

[Roxas grins at Axel. These were just the small fry, man.]

[He eases a bit, though there's something more serious on his mind.]

Noticed anything weird recently?

[The grin fades to match the shifting mood of the conversation.]

[Shun still has his practice gear on. Although he shifts into an attack stance, he isn't sure if his practice chains will be any use against the things. But the time he's made up his mind, Roxas has already taken care of them.]

What were those things?

They were Heartless.
