Well, I feel guilty that I ruined her party, but I'm not sorry I hit the guy back. I mean, I have a right to defend myself.

Doesn't make it a nice thing to do, though. And Ozma's still not happy, no matter how I feel.

I wasn't, I was in Oz. Fashion there hasn't changed much in the past few decades. [she shrugs-- a few more beads fall off her dress with the movement] A dress is a dress.

There's a huge field of poppies surrounding the Emerald City. When I was little, the Wicked Witch of the West grew them there, poisoned them so that I'd fall asleep and never make it to the City. But Glinda made it snow, and it covered the flowers, and I woke up.

Maybe it's morbid, but I like them anyway now. The field's still there-- not poisoned anymore, though.
