It's really not as bad as it looks. [Jolyne glances down where she's currently holding her side.] ...okay, mostly.

[grand_gaia]

[Frowns in concentration, and, if Jo can see them, blue rings rise around Isaac, and a moment later, the ugliest of the gashes start to close up]

[allstrings]

[Even if she wasn't paying complete attention to that little show, she's definitely surprised to find her wounds closing up, and it definitely didn't *seem* like a stand ability... So she'll be staring at Isaac now.]

...how'd you do that?

[grand_gaia]

[Smiles] Psynergy. Hang on, I'll do it again....

[His look of concentration returns, and a moment later, a few other wounds close]

[allstrings]

[Jolyne sits further forward, cautiously testing to see if she's well-off enough to sew the remaining wounds shut. Strings appear from beneath her skin, lacing together over the last of her injuries and sealing them shut.]

Damn, that's a really convenient skill you've got there.

[She rotates her shoulder and winces.]

[Jolyne snorts, wiping the blood out of her eyes.] You seem plenty good to me.

[Oh lord that is SOCUTE.] So what kinda thing is "psyenergy," anyway? It doesn't really seem anything like stand abilities.

Psynergy? It's the manifestations of Alchemy.

What are stand abilities?

[allstrings]

[Have a blank look] ...I definitely know I didn't flunk science, but uh... Alchemy?

Long story short? They're abilities back home that people are either born with or wind up with. Mine lets me unwind my body into strings... I'd offer a demonstration, but I'm a bit worn out right now. Stone Free probably looks about as shitty as I feel.

Yeah! It can only be harnessed by Adepts like me.

[Now she looks mildly skeptical.] So you can do that whole lead into gold thing?
