[Azi appears on the Plane cradling a cup of hot chocolate, dressed>much more casually than usual. The tie and jacket are gone, leaving him in nothing but a simple polo shirt and dress pants. He looks, not exactly miserable, just....bored really]

I never have been a fan of rainy weather.

I went through a rather bad storm some years back, and ever since I've been a bit weary of it.

It's best to conquer that sort of thing.

Oh it's not exactly a fear, not really. I've lived through worst things than rain.

I'd just rather avoid it if I have a choice.

[miseardae]

Wouldn't it be better to appreciate it? [slight smile] It seems to me you're giving power to whatever inspired your aversion.

Oh, I'm sure He prefers that. Might not, ineffable plan and all; one never knows.

[miseardae]

He? Honestly that would only give me more incentive.

[exensis]

Well, going against Him is what landed everyone in that sort of situation to begin with.

He sounds like quite the charmer.

I didn't exactly leave the best impression in my last assignment.

Well, I suppose it would depend on who's perspective. The humans were certainly grateful, but He was rather displeased that I gave away the flaming sword.

[miseardae]

...Well, I imagine they're fairly rare.

[exensis]

Not in Heaven; it's very easy to get your hands on a sword. I imagine He was more upset that it was the humans I gave them to.

[miseardae]

[...his eyes widen, slightly]

Very different reality, then.

...I wouldn't give many humans a flaming sword myself, honestly.

I suppose it's to be expected.

I felt bad for them, honestly. Getting kicked out of the Garden of Eden wasn't a pleasant experience for anyone, them in the least.
