[Onto the Plane appears a young woman in silver slippers, blue jeans and a button-up blouse, appearing entirely average and not at all like someone who would stand out in a crowd-- except she's not in a crowd, she's just arrived on the Plane, and that makes her far more noticeable. She steps around carefully, wide-eyed, turning in little slow

Oh! Well, hello, there!

I do, as a matter of fact. It's a good thing, too; I'd be awful unhappy if I didn't, seeing as how adventure seems to find me often enough, whether I'm looking for it or not.

For example, this! [looks around, whistling] I certainly didn't know there was a place like this in Oz.

Hullo yourself!

And, well, I don't think you're in Oz anymore. Or at least not as far as I know. This is more of a dimensional nexus point. There are quite a few universes connected to it.

A few! Oh, that's wonderful. What a fantastic place this must be! And I do quite like the starlight. Reminds me of my shoes. [big grin, hee hee]

Oh, I'm terribly sorry-- I'm Dorothy Gale. [offers her hand to shake] It's very nice to meet you.

[he grins right back, shaking her hand enthusiastically] Oh, brilliant! I'm the Doctor. Lovely to meet you as well. The stars happen to be my favourite part. I recognize a few of the places I've visited in them.

[laughs] Well I'm glad you do, because I'm lost-- and I promise, that doesn't happen very often. These don't look like the stars in Oz at all!

Although... I have to say, I don't rightly mind all that much. It's a very nice place to be lost, I think!

Getting lost usually gives the best adventures, I find. What are the stars like in Oz? Can't say I've been there.

[galeforcehero]

That's true, but it's hard to get lost if you know where you came from. I s'pose that's why this is such a unique sorta situation. I'm very good at knowing where I am.

Oh, they're beautiful. So different from Kansas. They're bright and they shimmer like they're alive! And when the sun rises, they all twinkle out, one by one, until it's day again. Like they're waving goodbye.

Now see, I'm used to being lost. I generally just travel somewhere and see what adventure I find.

[smiles] That does sound beautiful. I'd like to see it someday.

Ah, so you go looking for adventure! Can't say I blame you. Do you do a lot of traveling, then?

Well, that settles it. I'll have to take you. Can you imagine an entire city of emerald green, towering spires glittering green in the sun?

[salvagestime]

Yep! Everywhere and anywhere all over time and space. [bragging? just a bit]

[then he grins] I could imagine it but I don't think it's the same as seeing it. Although, despite this being a lovely little meeting ground, there are rules for seeing each other's worlds.

{...Oh, really? Well! I'll suggest it to her, then. Dorothy, oh, this place is brilliant.}

Time and space! Wonderful! How do you travel in time?

Rules? [EPIC POUT IS EPIC] What rules?

My ship. She's called the TARDIS and, well, actually she's around, so you might meet her. But she can travel anywhere. It's brilliant, if I say so.

[aww, pouting] Well! The rules. Nothing too horrible, actually. We can visit each other's worlds as long as we become friends, get close, mingle, that sort of thing. It tends to happen naturally with friends. [Or enemies but he'd rather explain friendship things to Dorothy]

A time ship! You have a time ship! Oh, that's amazing!! I didn't know there were such things. Oh, you have to introduce me. Really, you have to. Please? Pretty please? Oh, say you will!

That shouldn't be too hard. I'm very good at making friends!
