[Ikki pops up in the middle of the Plane, looking like he's just gotten the shit beaten out of him. His clothes are torn, and in his hand are the crumpled remnants of the Trophaeum registration papers. He seems okay despite this, though-- no broken bones or anything, and he's still standing. And right now, he's limping toward the bar.]

Alcohol. Give me alcohol. So that I can bathe in it to clean my wounds and then drink what's in the bathtub. I'm that kind of a worthless person now...

I could just heal you? At least you won't be drinking dirty alcohol then.

[crowheaded]

[grand_gaia]

[Shuffles over and casts 'Cure' a few times, watching most of the hurts close up.] That should do it. What happened?

[crowheaded]

[Ikki will NEVER get used to that. He flops down.]

Well... to start with... I'm a loser.

[grand_gaia]

[Follows suit, plonking down next to him and making an 'orly' face.]

So, there was a big tournament. I lost the papers. And then when I beat all the security locks to get in, I'd forgotten the key... and we're disqualified. The biggest fucking moment of our fucking lives, and I disqualified all of us... so they chewed me up an' spit me out, and now I'm a dead man.

[grand_gaia]

Oh....Is it ever happening again?

[crowheaded]

[Ikki shakes his head.] Been waiting all my fifteen years for this, and now it's going to happen without us.
