Is there a reason you're catching bees?

[proudly] The bees are disappearing. I thought I'd give Earth a boost. All right, it's a small boost right now. But best to start somewhere.

[raises eyebrows] Twenty-first century, yes?

[smiles] Well, they're fortunate to have someone on the case, then. Where did you get it from?

Yeah, they've been going missing lately. I actually thought it was your fault. Not you but the skinny pinstriped you.

This one's from Blackbird. [holds the jar out to him] Think he's normal enough to keep?

[miseardae]

[wry chuckle] I'm not sure whether I should feel insulted or not.

[leans forward to inspect the jar]

He certainly seems it, but that doesn't always mean much. I could run some tests...

Think you could? I was going to ask my Doctor but this might be quicker. [hands him the jar] His name is Wilfred.

'Course I named him. Proper bee deserves a proper name. But thanks.

[sits down to wait for him]

[holds him out to her]

No significant differences, you should be able to introduce him to Earth's population without much trouble.

[pensive] He won't have a hive of his own, of course...

[beams, taking him back] He's the best bee there is.

What do you think, though? [frowns] Should he get his own hive, then?

[miseardae]

[his brow furrows]

Do you remember where you found him? Transporting an entire hive would be more difficult, of course, but...

Yeah. I found him by this tunnel. I think his hive was probably in there.

[miseardae]

Well then! You should ask me if I can contain it, safely, for a while.

[faint smirk] And hopefully, I'll not make them disappear.
