Murder on the Orient Express. [shows him the cover] Ever read it?

Ah...no, I don't think so. What's it about?

Hercule Poirot brilliantly solves another murder case. I rather like the way this one is done. The train setting lends well to the story, I suppose.

[beams now] Agatha Christie! She's completely brilliant. You should give her a try.

Ah, really? I've never heard of her. Maybe I'll go check the local library.

[blinks, then laughs] You should. I like her books. Great if you want something to mull over.

[Chuckles.] I should probably read more often, anyway.

I have a lot of free time to read. And a very large library.

Ah, you're lucky, then. I have hardly any free time. [Plus it's best for assassins to have low-impact lifestyles, but he's not going to say that. Never mind trying to carry books when you're on the run~]

[He needs Time Lord pockets] Ah, well, sitting in the vortex gives loads of free time. Otherwise I usually am busy.

The vortex? Sounds...a bit dangerous, actually.

Well, it can be if you're not in a TARDIS. And even if you are you don't want to go out in it. But it's the vortex of time.

What exactly does it do, though?

[salvagestime]

The vortex? Well! It's just a tunnel of time, really. Bit like a road for time travellers. There's a few nasties in it and sometimes Time Rams occur, which is bad. But otherwise it's the perfect way to travel time and space.
