OMG!!!
Whoa - What a great beginning for my holidays. 8-( This noon I went to town by subway when suddenly the subway breaked really hard. After a short phase of silence there was chaos. Outside of the train everyone was running around, running away, standing still and/or screaming. And inside of the train Everyone just sat there, guessed what has happened and was totally terrified. Then suddenly one of the 2 drivers came out of the cabin and yelled "EVERYONE GET OUTTA HERE!" and the other driver was screaming and crying. At first I didn't know what to do and just ran around - totally confused. After a couple of minutes I ignored his shoving me away and told him that I'm a paramedic. Then we went below the subway and I was just about to examine the guy who was below the subway when the driver yelled "He's alive!" and told me to go up again and wait for the ambulance. Confused as I was I totally forgot that I was the more competent helper and that the patient needed to be examined and monitored by a professional and did just that - go up and wait for the ambulance. There were lots of them. Ambulances, police and the fire-brigade. They found the way down on their own. And because there were so many of them I just left and went downtown. F*ck...
