[Chris is here with his pad of paper and pen ready. They have a purpose and damn it, he is going to be a good copper about this. Even if he doesn't know what to ask. Ray is the one good at that.]
[And here, of course, is Ray. He looks more or less his usual pleasant self, and is chewing on his delicious gum. He's only ever been in the shop once, when he first stumbled in here, so while Chris is rounding up Meredith, he's poking around looking at things.
He may or may not trip over the paw of a sleeping giant canine thing, but Ray has learned how to ignore weird and so he does just that. Ignores it. And he ignores that he tripped and goes back to looking at things while waiting.
[Meredith appears out of nowhere, possibly because Chris is just so endearing that how can anyone resist him? It's like resisting a puppy. It just doesn't work.]
[A slight smile.] 'Lo, luv. Listen, uh, me and Ray have some questions for you, if you don't mind. [He holds up the paper pad for emphasis. This is rsr policing.]
[If Ray were the sort to facepalm, he would have.]
To be more specific - few days ago, we came across a couple dozen bodies up in the third floor of the bathhouse on the plane. No signs of rigor mortis in the ones we looked at.
[Ray sniffed and fished his cigarettes out of his pocket. Clearly, together, he and Chris will get awesome questioning done.]
