Why allowing unions and political entities running "public" services is a horrible idea

And you thought CEO pay was out of line?! How would you like to collect three times your salary in overtime and double your salary as a pension at age 55?

The word "scandal" doesn't seem adequate to cover the situation.

And these are exactly the kind of policies which unions demand in the workplaces they infest.

Aren't you glad that we passed TARP and Porkulus so that tram workers such as these could benefit? You wouldn't want them to be out in the cold having to fight all of Manhattan for a loaf of bread. Besides, look at it this way: they are just below being millionaires in Obama's book. We can tax the hell outta 'em so they can pay their own salaries.
