She's getting 1/10th the scrutiny that a Republican nominee gets

And she's basically getting free passes on statement that if they were made by a Republican nominee would have the MSM screaming for rejection in page one stories.

Yet...some people seem to think she's being unfairly judged. What's up with that?

The time to question her is before the confirmation vote, not after. Most of the things I have seen make me want to delve a bit deeper to find out her exact positions on issues. There are a couple of things I disagree with (such as her decision in a case (Didden) allowing government extortion-which the Supreme Court will actually hear quite soon) but if she is actually telling the truth when she claims to believe that the Constitution "means what it says" then I don't see any reason not to confirm her....

After she answers some questions.

It's remarkable that the left and the MSM claim that by questioning her or opposing her nomination Republicans "risk alienating Hispanics". Really? Did Democrats "risk alienating blacks" when they had a tantrum over Thomas' nomination? Did they risk alienating Italians when they criticized Scalia? Liberals and their double standards!

And speaking of double standards, if someone like Roberts had said that being a white male made him wiser than (say) a Hispanic female he would have been toast. And you know it!
