BECAUSE HE'S FOR CHANGE!

and because he isn't Bush. RLY!

I really am struck by how insecure Obama seems by bringing this out like this. "NOT BUSH. SEE? HE IS WAY WORSE THAN ME!" (wrote a far more rational thought on this on my LJ)

I don't know that Obama is insecure as much as he is out of his league and not really ready for prime time. He knows that the technique of distracting the public works pretty good if you can control the headlines, but the economic pinch we are all feeling supercedes everything else. The people will see that he is naive and foolish, but I wonder how many will care enough to even speak up?

Because it's all Bush's fault, of course. Haven't you been listening? Obama is responsible for things good, Bush is responsible for all things bad. And so it will ever be. No matter how badly things suck in the next four years, it will be all Bush's fault because he left such a mess behind.

And Obama is working SO hard to clean the Augean Stables, but it's just...so...hard. Bush left SUCH a mess that even a miracle walker like Obama will need at least eight years to repair the damage....

(Though I hope and pray he gets only four.)

I'm still trying to figure out exactly why we're supposed to be angry. No, that's not snark, I really am trying. And I don't get it.

It's policy only if Bush says so. Otherwise, this is just paper with ink on it.

I can't believe that not only are members of the press silent, but the majority of the American people are nore concerned with what Michele Obama wore yesterday, than how her husband is destroying the nation today.

We really need to be harrassing the White House, Congress, and anyone else with any power to affect the course of our nation. Even after 9/11 I did not feel such an overwhelming sense of doom.
