Bush promises unilateral, pre-emptive action against Iran
No, wait...that wasn't Bush, it was Biden!
MUNICH - Vice President Joe Biden warned Saturday that the U.S. stands ready to take pre-emptive action against Iran if it does not abandon nuclear ambitions and its support for terrorism.
I know, I know, this is different, right?
Well, I will grant that this is indeed different. Iran has not actually attacked the United States, nor has it waged war against one of our allies.
Or used WMD in war and against its own people.
Or broken a cease-fire agreement.
So no, this isn't like Iraq at all.
